The new Bangladesh inaugurated its longest bridge above the Padma River. It also clarifies that the Padma Bridge is not part of the Belt Initiative and Jalan China.
The story so far: In a historic moment for Bangladesh, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on June 25 inaugurated the Padma Multipurpose Bridge across the thepadma river,
calling it “a symbol of pride.” The current bridge is the longest in this country. The inauguration lasted more than 20 years after Ms. Hasina put the foundation stone.
This bridge will connect nearly 30 million people who live in the southwest of the country that are less developed in the country with the capital of Dhaka and other regions.
