Acting Foreign Minister of the Taliban-ruled Afghan government, Amir Khan Muttaqi, said on Saturday, March 12, that foreign style administration should not be forced on Afghanistan. He went on to say that the Taliban government tried to save the Afghan economy and had made progress in various regions, which included government steps to avoid economic destruction.
The Minister of Acting further stated that the weak Afghan government would not benefit anyone, and that efforts to disrupt existing administrations must stop. Muttaqi added that the Taliban government had fulfilled all requirements for international recognition
